Seth Shortlidge – President/CEO
Seth Shortlidge founded NTE Solutions. As the company’s president and chief executive officer, he is responsible for managing NTE Solutions' day-to-day operations, strategic planning and investor relationships.
Seth has extensive experience in the energy industry. Prior to founding NTE Solutions, he served as managing director and chief executive at Tamarack Energy. There he led the successful divestiture of the company’s portfolio of energy project development opportunities. Prior to joining Tamarack Energy, Seth was a partner at the law firm of Pierce Atwood.
He also served as a shareholder/director at the law firm of Gallagher, Callahan & Gartrell where he represented a wide variety of national and international energy clients in major commercial transactions and regulatory proceedings.
As COO at NTE Solutions, Mark is responsible for managing all development and corporate activities through ensuring efficient utilization of internal staff, facilitating administration and supporting the finance, business development and human resource teams.
Mark previously worked for Tamarack Energy, where he managed numerous renewable energy development projects in the Northeast including wind, biodiesel and biomass projects. Mark was the lead project developer for Watertown Renewable Power, doing initial development activities through its sale to Energy Investors Funds. He founded Revolve Power, LLC in 2009 to provide continuing development services to WRP and other renewable energy projects. Prior to joining Tamarack Energy, Mark held various engineering and project management positions at Merck & Co., Inc.
Mark received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a ME in Environmental Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
Tim Eves serves as one of NTE Solutions' Principals, focused on project development. Tim is responsible for managing the company’s project development opportunities. These include project site identification, permitting, community and government relations and project level engineering. In addition, Tim manages the company’s project developers and other project related support personnel.
Tim came to NTE Solutions from Vercipia, a leader in the development and commercialization of cellulosic ethanol production technology. Prior to Vercipia, Tim worked in various management roles for Calpine Corporation in the areas of project development and origination. Prior to joining Calpine, Tim had a 20-year career with Westinghouse working in power generation.
Tim has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Widener University in Philadelphia and The Crummer Business School at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla., a Juris Doctorate (JD) from the University of Miami, and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering (BME) from the University of Detroit. Tim is a member of the Florida State Bar Association.
Mike Bradley joined NTE Solutions in February 2010 and leads the commercial services team. He is responsible for NTE Solutions' origination and power contracting activities in the East and Midwest.
Mike brings over 20 years of experience in various power industry sectors. Prior to joining NTE Solutions, he spent 14 years in origination roles at Dynegy. As senior director, origination he led the company’s sales and origination efforts in the East, ERCOT, lower Midwest, and Southeast. Before joining Dynegy, Mike held a variety of leadership positions in resource acquisition, resource planning, and system planning at North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation in Raleigh, NC.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering (BSIE) from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Chris provides leadership on all aspects of engineering efforts for NTE Solutions. In this role, Chris develops detailed opportunities; site, technical and economic performance characterizations; construction and operating cost estimates; plans and schedules; project implementation and contracting strategies; conceptual design development; EPC bid solicitation, evaluation and negotiation; technology and cycle evaluation and selection; technology package and construction contracts, including their management throughout the project lifecycle.
Chris adds over 25 years of engineering experience to NTE's team. Having previously served in technical and leadership roles at Parsons, Siemens and InterGen, Chris has led engineering services on dozens of power plants in several different countries.
Mike Green joined NTE Solutions in November 2010 and leads the project development team.
Mike brings nearly 40 years of experience in the energy industry. He served in several management level positions with Duke’s engineering, regulatory affairs and project management divisions, focused on Duke’s generation fleet. Mike was loaned for two years to the Institute of Nuclear Operations (INPO) as a Senior Evaluator to evaluate construction practices of US Nuclear facilities and was also the US representative for the IAEA international evaluation team at the Italian Montalto di Castro site. Mike also was requested by the US State Department to participate in the USAID evaluation of the Egyptian Energy Association’s transmission upgrade efforts. Mike retired from Duke in 2002 after serving as Duke’s VP for IPP development in Florida and the Southeast.
In 2002 Mike formed a consulting firm which represented several IPP’s in the state of Florida before the Public Service Commission and the Florida Legislature and served as Executive Director of a Florida IPP trade association. In 2004, Mike also served as a Director of Governmental and Public Affairs for Calpine’s New South Energy Division.
Mike earned his Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1972.
